As President of Superior Technologies, it gives me a great deal of pride to have directed the growth of a small, two man operation, into one of the most competitive weighing and process control companies in Canada.
Initially, the strategy was to concentrate on servicing scales. Soon after we started operations, however, there was a rapid increase in demand for new electronic components. The traditional scale companies were reluctant to incorporate new technology with their systems. We were viewed as an explorer and a risk-taker as we worked to respond to the needs of our customers.
Today, Superior Technologies is an aggressive leader in the development of electronic and computerized weighing systems as well as process control technologies. The majority of our sales include products made up of several components frequently incorporating state-of-the-art computer hardware and sophisticated software.
One of the major reasons for our success is Superior Technologies' ability to meet our customers' specific requirements. We can customize any of our products to meet a customer's unique needs. For example, two grain elevators owned by the same company can have significantly different requirements. In such cases, we analyze these special needs and custom design a solution.
Our extensive in-house professional expertise reinforces our commitment to remain at the leading edge of technology in such areas as process control, computerized data acquisition and related management information systems. Our services include on-site training for the customer's staff as well as on-going hardware maintenance and software support. We always service what we sell and whenever possible, provide a replacement unit if it is operationally required.
